FAQ's

Can I choose a design from any business category or must I only choose within my own business grouping?
Our business categories are only guides. Since you can change the names on buttons and swap out images from any Templated Design for no additional fee any design can be used for your business.

Can I request changes to a Templeted Design?
Small changes can often be made without any added expense, but if the request you make is time consuming our $40 an hour maintenance fee will need to apply.

How long will it take to have my site ready?
Once we've received all your copy and artwork we'll need about three business days to get a working demo for you to review online. Then, after your feedback and approval its only two more days until we can deliver the final site.

How should I send my copy?
All copy for you site must be sent to us in electronic form. You can create a Microsoft Word document and sent that to us as an attachment, or even just cut and past the copy into the body of an Email. We do ask that you check spelling and punctuation carefully, since what you send us will appear exactly on your site.

How should I send you photos?
If you have digitized photos (scanned images or pictures from your digital camera) you can Email them to us. Images should be saved in JPEG format. You can also send us hard copies of photographs, slides and transparencies via courier (make sure your shipment is trackable and insured). We'll scan your artwork and return your images when the project is complete.

How should I send you my logo?
The best way for us to receive a client's logo is as a layered Illustrator file. If you've worked with a designer to develop your logo you should be able to ask them for a copy. But if all else fails, we can usually make a decent scan from a piece of printed material.

Will I be able to view my site before it goes "live?"
Absolutely. Your site will be fully functional within a password protected area where it can be reviewed and tested. Any changes you request will be viewed there as well, until you give us the go ahead and make your site "live."

How are changes to my new web site made?
Every Templeted Design sold comes with a grace period for updates and changes (3 months - and up to 4 hours total). If after that time changes still need to be made we charge $40 an hour to perform maintenance. Email us with the changes and we'll usually make the update within one business day. Let us know if its an emergency and we can work to make the change immediately. Minor changes that take only a few minutes usually aren't even billed. We'd rather you have an accurate and up to date site.

Can I update my own site?
Yes you can. Clients with sites hosted on our servers have full FTP access to the web site's files. You can also use the popular web page editing software Microsoft FrontPage with sites hosted on our servers. If you think your site will need regular updates we'll work with you to find the best solution for your time and budget.

I already have a domain name. How do I transfer it to your servers?
We can take care of that for you free of charge. All we'll need is a little technical information about the domain name you own and the username and password.

I have more than one domain name. Can I use them all?
If this is the case we'll set up one domain name as the primary. The rest will be set up as Pointers that will automatically refer traffic to the primary address. There's a $20 one time fee for each Pointer we set up.
